lt500 throttle cable

Default lt500 throttle cable
Just got my pwk39 for the lt500 and they did not ship the new thumb throttle cable,will my stock cable work or do i have to wait for the new one?Thanks Jason

Default lt500 throttle cable
When I got mine from Duncan Racing, I believe they told me the other cable was required. I didn't try hooking up the stock one because it easn't in very good shape.

Default lt500 throttle cable
the stock one wont work with the pwk . better wait for the new one . the stock cable isnt long enough and will hold the carb open at 1/4 throttle with no way to turn it down .

Thanks guys i just tried it today and the cable is about a half inch to short, how do you guys like the 39pwk compared to the stock 38.
