well theres two little black fasteners on the plastic thing, and you take those out ( I broke mine off so I cant tell you how to do it properly) and lift it off. I used real bolts when I put it back. couldnt tell much difference in wheelies but I like the way it is now I dont feel like I'm gonna go over the bars.

 

well those little black peices are easy once u understand them...push the center in! Then pull them outu have to take a pen or sumthing or a paper clip and then push the little circle in the big circle and then pull the whole thing out. just look and u will know what I am talking about.

 

then lift and push forward and it will snugly come of but also take the key switch and stuff out too

wuts with uru face its all demented n hill-billy shaped. it lookes like u were stuck in a burning house, then when u got out someone ran ur face over with their truck....sry...its just bothering me!

 

I'm taking all those little black things off my bike today and replacing them with bolts, lock washers, and teflon nuts from homedepot. I dont like the cheap look of the black fasteners.
