the lt is worth around 1500 if it needs a few things, so 3500 trade for a Z

i sold mine for 800$.... then the guy calls back like 2 days later complaining about it... just make sure hes a nice guy, and 2 20yr old kids who dont know what their talking about. the guy thought it needed a re-build, and his "engine builder" said it was 800$ for a Top end.... gimma a break.

If it was an 87-92, it would be a little more worth it, but I wouldn't trade for an 85-86. What kind of "few little things" does it need?

Your Z is faster and handles better than the 86. It'll cost you $1500-2000 to make the 86 handle close to the Z. And powerwise......I was so disappointed the other day when my well tuned 86 got spanked on an uphill, asphalt drag by a bone stock Z.

The upside on the 86? It weighs less than 300 lbs dry and Suzuki made another 2 stroke engine that fits in that frame quite nicely

You probably could, but the early Quadracers had even weaker frames and swingarms than the 87-92's. I would just keep your Z, they're alot nice IMO and have quite a bit of potential.
