Default hot cams for z400

I have been looking at hot cams for my z400. I noticed you can get exhaust cams and intake cams, but i dont really know what they do. would it be worth it to buy them. should i get the exhaust cam or the intake cam or both. and are they hard to install

if you know how to time your cams with the crank then they're not hard to install. I didnt want to mess with it so I let somebody else do it
you will gain a horse or 2 with both cams. cant remember if you change 1 cam what it does to the power. I was told but forgot
I think they're worth getting

Mainly just have to pull the valve cover to install cams. I got mine on special for $225 shiped, so shop around. The intake cam is more for low end/mid range power. Both cams are for mid range to top end power. Most people I hear of that go with the stage 1 wish they would have got both cams.
