At what size bore/piston do you have to start using larger headgaskets on 88-92 quadracer 250's. On my 87 it was like .060 over i think and i had to use a larger one than stock. anyone know?

The stock one is fine as far as I can remember. Mine was .080 and I never had gasket issues. The piston doesn't extend over the jug so it's a non-issue I believe. I have an extra head gasket if you need one, still in the bag.

Trinity has the head gaskests that you can buy after boring, like even if the stock one is fine the larger one fits a little more accurately.i think im going to go ahead and get a larger one, because the cometics at trinity are cheaper than stock anyways
