From what I've read the dual exhaust doesn't make near the H.P. that the others are and your adding more weight.............

Dirt Wheels did a test on the LTE daul exhaust and it doesn't do anything except add weight to the quad. It doesn't make too much extra power... it only makes like 1hp extra.

Yoshimura comp series look great, and sound even better. I am running their full pipe, along with the oval carbon fiber silencer. After removing the air box lid, jetting up to a 160 main, and the 4th position on aftermarket needle, the bike runs circles around my brothers stock 400.

Heck, you can add 5HP just by rejetting, or adding anything else anybody is advertising, if you believe everything you read. Those mfr's get creative with the numbers...

+5 rejet
+5 new pipe
+5 new air filter
+5 new airbox lid
+5 new CDI
+5 new carb
+5 new gas tank cap (just kidding!)

By the time you are done, you'll have an "80HP" z400! I think what really happens, though, is they compare bone stock to uncorked and rejetted. Sure, most pipes add power, but just going up a size or two on the main jet was enough for my buddy to make comments, before I even told him.
