crank threads?

Default crank threads?

does anyone know the thread size for the crank, clutch side.. lt500

i need to retap mine but i cant find the size

if you screwed up your thread then using a die of the same size as they were isn't going to help much unless you just messed up the threads at the end of the shaft. If thats the case, sorry i'm not sure on the thread size, if you did screw up all of the thread then just go slightly smaller and pick up the correct size nut.

its just the very top of the threads are a little smushed down..... it just needs to be chased and they will be fine

they make a tool called a thread file, it usually has 4 sides and 2 ends, you just pick the one that fits your thread pitch...unlike a die, you just kinda file the threads back straight

i had the same problem on my 250, only every bit of thread was gone off the shaft and the nut also. I found one of those thread files and it took about an hour but finally got it back to new. Saved tons of money and time.
