nah there is no 5mph difference. if there was then a raptor is 5mph faster then a banshee

 

back to the question asked my quadzilla will do just below 90 it has a filter with no airbox lid and a DG exaust.

 

yeah u prolly do mid 80s. stock a quadzilla did 79 and a banshee did 77 in the 80s. today the 450s do what the banshee does in my honest experience

 

Iwannaride, I can't answer the quadzilla question, but I would advise your friend to borrow a GPS if he does not own one and then he will know exactly how fast his quad is. And feel free to ask what ever questions you want that is why this forum exists.

the quadzilla is the fastest stock quad out, i think the banshees run close, those things are wicked stock, not to mention they have more aftermarket parts out than any other quad ever made, and i've heard the raptors beat the banshees, but i've never seen one beat yet, even in the mud races at our local county fair here in PA, there was a ton of raptors and yfz and 1 banshees and none of them ran as quick as time as the banshee and that's mud where supposedly everyone tells me 4 strokes have an advantage and i agree with ZillaRider87, the 450s are nowhere close to the LT500R, the 450s won't do 75-77, because they would eat up 250s if they were that fast and those little 250s run right along with those 4 strokes, they just last longer.

A while back i owned an 86 230 Quadrunner and i kept up with my friend's blaster, so i'd say between 50-55, don't be fooled into thinking those old quadrunners were slow old pieces of crap, they'll outrun and go more places than both the Beartracker and the Recon.

 

Yes the zilla is the fastest quad stock, and yes the YFZ sucks at top speed, my raptor use to catch up to it kick, but know that slip-on gave it some top speed and now the raptor can't catch up.

dealers should all come out with 1 fourwheeler with everything they have and race them that would be awesome

 

well idk what 450s ur riding, but i never heard of a raptor being faster except for here. like i said if the raptor is faster then the yfz, then its faster them them all. i raced a stock yfz when ihad a stock banshee and COULD NOT pass it period

 

Well my YFZ was stock, and my raptor had the mods in my sig, plus bigger valves or some crpa like that.
