Default Z400 fan

ok i searched through and couldn't really find what im looking for

i was riding pretty hard technical trails today and my bike started to overheat.....so bad it was spewing anti-freeze out of the overflow tube.....the fan never came on

i checked all the wiring, fuses, fan spins freely...its getting voltage

so question is what should i check next?

i ran the bike through a stream 4 or 5 times to cool the motor back down then rest of my riding was more wide open so it never got really hot again

I by no means am a pro mechanic, but my girls new '05 Z400 did the same exact thing and I was getting good voltage throughout the wiring harnass, but it turned out that the fan switch was bad. Hope this helps, and good luck.
