im sure you did. you were probobly trying your heart out and the Z400 was casual riding. The Z250 is in no way a quad to be raced and by the time you spend all that $$$ in too it, stock Z400's will be passing you at a standstill. save your self the embarrasment!

 

Sorry to say but 86LT250RFatty is right even though i like the z250 but it has no place on the track and even more so with the z400/KFX400/ and 400ex. You would have to put many $$$$ as 86LT250Rfatty said to keep up with them. But if you still plan on racing it you should get a big bore kit first, new shocks, nerf bars, bumper pipe, jets and airfilter. Start with those and see what happends.

You can race the Eiger in the utility class of cross country races. That's what my dad is gonna do when he gets his Prarie.

 

Yeah DVXer has a good point there, that would be the way to go if you still would like to race.

No lie there man, z250 simply gets around quicker in tight woods. Z400 was too wide.

 

Ive seen a kid race with a Z250. He got last, but its not the quad, its the rider. And quadsport. you live near e-ville right?,, B/c last year at the Vnaderburgh County race where Dierks Bently sang the night after they had a utility class for MX. Its preety fun to watch. I raced with my 250EX before i got my 300. But def! go and watch before you get out there yourself. Its not smart if you dont. I suggest a Blingstar Iron Cross Bumber. Its preety sick lookin. i still dont know if i would race a shaft drive bike, thats alot of impact on one part.

 

The Z400 and the Z250 are trail bikes. The Z400 is just the upgraded Version of it, so the Z400 is much quicker throught the woods, just remember, its alot rider not machine.

 

HEY Quadsport and schonertkyle, i live in E-ville and i also raced in the Fair...i was the kid on the only yellow 250 in the 2 stroke class...yea that one rider who really sucked..haha...it was my first race and i had a ton of fun...just sucked cause there were only 5 people that had 2 strokes...where do you guys ride at?? We should definitely get together and meet somewhere...i have a couple friends with some quads ( blaster, 400ex, kfx400 ) and i think it would be fun to meet some new people.
