fastest z250

umm the lt 250 and the ltz 250 do NOT have the same engine. They are noghing alike. the lt is a 2 stroke engine which means no valves. the ltz is a 4 stroke has valves does not burn oil and has about half the stroke. these engines are not the same

More info is needed.
The guy that said about the 2 stroke is correct IF the letters are LT250R compared to a LTZ.
LTE? ?? What machine and year? Possibly a 4 stroke but the same motor? Again, possibly.
There are 230e's and other letters, LT250F's and such too.
Now as far as speed, removing the rev limiter will help. Cams and carb will allow it to go to the max but speed will be limited to the rpm's raised cuz of the shaft drive. It's cost a fortune to re-gear that.
The Z250 is such a fine putt, why ya want to mess with em considering it isn't a race machine (or even close)?
