atvmississippiboy,
I am selling just the shocks.
Electricshift,
They are considerabily better that stock. Dual rate, rebuildable. When I installed them I checked travel and effort of compression / dampening, there is no comparison. I also found out another issue with the front suspecsion on these. The A-arm bushings are captured rubber that get cinched to the brackets. When tight, the bushing twists to a point then the suspension does not move anymore. With the shocks off, I loosened the bolts to where the a-arm will travel full cycle freely. Then applied loc-tite and snugged up the bolts until I felt slight resistance. What a huge difference that made with the new shocks. The front suspension actually works now. Take a front shock off and try and cycle the spindle fully, you will see what I mean. I am trying to locate replacement bushings to eliminate this issue.
See 86LT250RFatty's reply for my answer on that offer.
Z250freak,
I am selling them because I got a complete family set of TCS (4 quads - 3 shocks each) for an incredible price on all of it. Too good to pass up.
They are valved for 80# rider. They are on my sons machine. Like I said there were only two rides on them maybe 4-5 hours at the most. They have had covers on them since day one.
I can post other photos if you would like close ups. They are off the machine now in the box, waiting to make someone happy.
