Default bars for the Z400??

hey guys, i was thinking about getting some new handlebars for my '04 Z, does the key consel work with aftermarket bars? I want to keep the key and warning lights in the stock setting but i want some new bars ASAP, any suggestions on which bars to get?

Thanks for any info, Brett

TAG T2 Kit. I had the TAG X5 on before, but you can't see the little lights very well, because of the crossbar and pad. The T2 has a nice mounting plate that holds the key and lights. Love it!

CHAZEKXT, I noticed you have hmf exaust with a 165 dynojet installed. I have an hmf full system installed and put in the provided mikuni 175 main. I purchased a stage 1-2 dynojet kit but have not installed it yet. In the instructions say to install 150 dynojet and needle on groove#3. My airbox lid is off, outerwear airbox lid installed, unifilter, and snorkel still in place. Just wandering if you started with the recommended 150 with bad results then worked your way up to the 165 you have now? I'm going to tackle this weekend and thought your input might save me some time. Also, is your headpipe stock or hmf? Sorry for all the questions but your reply would be appreciated!!!!! -Thanks

head pipe was stock and stock needle started with 155 with lid on ran like *hit then we tried 160 with 2 2in holes in lid little better. it cut out on top. so the 165 worked great. with stock needle and white bros power filter and the 2 2 in hole in lid

Tag X5's are nice that's what i got, but i'd rather have some T2's or some Renthals, you might also want to look at those bars they only made for bikes but now have them for quads, d*** i can't remember what they're called, does anyone else know???? i'd know if i seen the name, they are pretty decent and absorb the shock when you land a jump

I like my Pro Tapers and they were pretty cheap at only 70$.
