its a mikuni thats what i had too. i looked in the manual, and depending on where in the country you bought it, it came stock with a 190-200-210 Mainjet.. DEFINATLY bump it up to a 240-250 And see how it runs. you have it bored over too!

A little bit of info to help with jetting. Colder air is more dense, therefore you need more fuel to compensate, which is why you may need to rejet in the wintertime, and do the opposite in the summer.

For your pre-mix ratio, that depends on what oil you use. I ran Golden Spectro at 50:1 in my R for 6 months without needing a new plug. Look on the back of the bottle, it will tell you what mixture they recommend. I would replace your exhaust gasket since you are leaking oil between the exhaust flange and expansion chamber. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

mine had the same problem and it ended up being an airleak, does it backfire when you have it running, flames shot out of mine when it was running

you know everything that is posted on here about problems with LT's i have the exact same problems, my LT250R came from an owner who just beat it around everyday runned the crap out of it and didn't give it any attention, i've had problems with it ever since i got it and they just keep getting worse, luckily i'm doing a complete restoration of it for my senior project at high school so this summer i'll be tearing the whole thing apart, i also thought about making a custom frame cause i have places to get material and i'm very good at welding with a regular stick welder and with a MIG, so i had that idea of making that, hopefully i get this thing running right cause on occasion when it did run right it would literally smoke a 400ex with ease
