Default Towing with Eiger

I has to tow a friends Eiger out of the woods today through about 6 inches of snow. I had to use low range most of the way 1/2 mile. I did not really have much problem. Just wondering though could I have done any damage towing that far in low range. Thanks Biney

Low range just makes the engine work less for the same amount of power. Its actually easier on all parts. the rev limiter keeps er from overrevving. I use low when towing and on some hill climbs, its easier on the belt.

You'll have to do a search. I know a couple guys on this forum go down from Michigan pretty regularly. It's near Knoxville Tenn.
