Default Vinson Warn Bumper pics.

I mounted my new Warn bumper today on my Vinson and thought I would post a pic of the mounted bumper and where it mounts to the machine. I did not get a good pic of the upper mount because it mounts behind the plastic bumper but you can see the bolt heads in the first pic just under the Suzuki emblem. Here is the Link to the bumper pics Vinson Pics

If you are in the market for a new Bumper I would HIGHLY suggest going with the Warn over the Front OEM bumper because the OEM bends easily when hit at a low speed plus it does not offer much protection because it sits too low on the machine. I will say the back OEM bumper is built better then the front bumper. The only reason I don't use my rear bumper is it will not clear my Supertrapp IDSX exhaust.

If you do want a OEM front and rear bumper PM me me and make me a offer. The rear is in excellent shape. The front bumper is in good over all shape but the mounting brackets has been bent and might need some minor adjusting to make it fit but the actual main body of the bumper is not bent. I can post pics of the bumpers unmounted if asked to.

That thing looks tons better than the Suzuki tube bumper. I'm going to have check one of those out. How much does that thing weigh?

Mudhunter,
Did you have to take off your stock Suzuki tube brushguard/bumper to mount that thing? Or does it go over it?
Looks good!

4xZuk, I will have to look on the box for the shipping label to see what the weight is. I have the OEM front bumper and it did not protect any thing. I nicked a tree at about 5 mph when I was turning around and it bent all the bumper mounting brackets so I straightened it out the first time it happened but after it happen the second time I just removed the bumper and left it off. I bought this bumper from the ebay seller that sells a lot of warn bumpers.

Swampchicken, It mounts over the stock plastic bumper. You do have to take the plastic bumper off to put on the top mounting bracket but you put the plastic back on once you get the upper mount in place.
