im thinkin bout buying a z-400 but im not sure which i like better, and now the 05 Z400 has new suspension so which one do you think i should get,

I'd get the Z400 if you're getting an 05. I like the DVX's styling better though.

 

Seeing they MSRP at the same price the Z would be my choice as the Cat doesn't get the upgraded suspension or engine. If they knocked a grand off the Cat maybe my choice would be different..MAYBE.

 

if you want style get the Dvx and If youyou want a new machine get the Z!

 

the bikes are the same except for the plastics. try finding sticker kits for the DVX
the Z is easy to ride and mod. I would get the Z way before the DVX
and besides artic cat is for snowmobiles not quads

 

i would go with the Z 100%. last year i had to make the same choice, i went with the z solely because my friends made fun of me when i said i was thinking of getting an artic cat. I had it in my head to get the cat, but when i got made fun of i looked at my other choices. I guess it wasnt just because of getting made fun of i just liked the way the limited edition Z400 looked way better than the looks of the dvx. i think the dvx needs better graphics, They look pretty cheesy IMO. Since the 05 Z400 is near the same price as an 05 dvx, plus it has all those nice upgrades i would definately go with the Z. And if you are having problems choosing which color Z I think the blue/white one looks awesome. Has anyone seen the atv action shootout with the white 05 z? That is an awesome graphics kit. Ok i will shut up now, lol, i could probably type forever on this subject.......Z400 all the way! Maybe an HMF pipe too im lovin mine.

Not bustin' on ya but I don't think they are the same anymore. I don't believe the DVX got the motor upgrades the 05 Z got. Anybody know for sure if the DVX or the KFX got the same upgrades for 05? I'd really like to know..........

 

The KFX did, but AC doesnt have the 05 models up on thier website so I dont know if they did or not.
