Default Elka's or Works

I was wondering if any one had a comperative knowledge of the two shock-manufactures. I have a Kfx-400 and the shocks i wanted to get were the tripple rates with rezzi's which cost $520.00 from works and 900.00+ from elka. Does any one know which is better?

Let me help, in this case the expensive ones are better...

Works is great for trail riding, but if you are going to compete or run mx then I would go with something better. But why spend that kind of money on elkas when you can get pep, axis or ohlins for not much more.

i would say Elka and axis are the most popular shocks, with elka being the more popular of the two...why wouldnt you want elka??

well not really between elka and works...works is more of a recreational shock, elka is going to be much nicer and more towards racing.

I ride every type of terrian, i go to the track once in a while but not intrested in racing. But i have seen a Suzuki racer have them on his quad, it was in the dirt wheeler magezine, not that it matters. THe stock shocks are for recreation.

I don't race but I do ride hard in the desert. I opted for the Works triple rates w/rezzies and I couldn't be happier. They work very well IMO. My rear shock is stock but has been revalved and set up for me and my style and is great as well. I've never tried any of the other brands so I can't compare between the two so I can't help you there. This is on my Z by the way.........
