Read any review they all say the manual shift is considerably quicker, I know the rubicon 500 is no match for the vinson. A guy I work with used to bash on my vinson until we rode together and my vinson would outperform his honda all day long in any situation and then he was convinced the vinson was a sweet quad.

 

The Manual is "peppier" due to not having to turn the CVT, but I wouldn't call it quicker. My kids' Rancher has more initial burst off of idle than my Vinson does, due to gearing.
