Zilla shocks?
#1
Sorry if i'm wasting you'r time but what shocks off of other quads will work on a zilla, I was lookin at works shocks for about $400 front and $450 rear. All sounds a lot of money just for shocks. If i knew of better ones off of other quads i could buy them second hand. Or any other ideas you guys might have?

Try getting the stockers revalved with a new spring for your weight. Someone might sell a revalve kit so that you can do it yourself. If you're not over 200 lbs. you can probably get away with just changing the oil and then have them re-charged.

I tried 400EX shocks but their too long. Also tried stock Banshee shocks but they don't fit into the mounts w/o some grinding and they sucked anyway so that didn't work out becouse the shocks were worn out. They may have worked in the end if I had gotten a relatvely new pair from Ebay, but they were toast. I'd check the dimensions on the works website for stock lenths that are approximately the same as the Zilla's, which are 14.25 if I remember right. Not many stock short shocks out there and I wouldn't retrofit anything over 15 inches as it tends to accentuate the bumpsteer.
