Default LT Rear Shock

Hello all,
I havent been on here for awhile, been busy with sleds. How hard would it be to rebuild my rear shock on my quadracer? It is an 88 250 if that makes any difference. What would i all need to do it myself? Would it just be easier to have someone else do it who knows what they are doing? Let me know.

i took mine to a local dealer and they wanted 230 for just a rebuild...i called Works and got a complete revalve and rebuild for 230...sent the shock to Works monday, so i cant really tell ya anything yet...But works was by far the cheapest place around to get it done. It should make a HUGE difference though.
