There are a couple of ways you can go, yes yoshi does make a kit or they will do it for you . The kit is around 850.00 and for them to do it cost 1450.00. Although you can get the same thing for alot cheaper. Know from experience, but the yoshi is a stroker kit too.

I was wondering the same thing. What does doing it yourself involve, just having the cylinder bored and labor? Also, if you upgrade to a 440 or whatever...do u have to change the crank and conrod or does that come with most kits? or is it not even necessary? Any info on the topic is greatly appreciated. Thanks

there are alot of different kits on the market if you want a kit from yoshi your gonna wait I had a 440 ct kit last year and went to yoshi looking for a 450 stroker and found that its a 3 month back order. well i dont want to wait I want it ready for racing so I called the best in the buisness. tc racing got a 450 kit from him good stuff and good customer service. I have only got a few things from him be he can answer your questions if your serious about buying a big bore. The other thing you can do is just buy a iston 440 cc from wiseco or just about anyone for that matter and then do a set of cams carb and some port work and get out if it cheap if your lookind for an inexpensive way to do it. You can call ct racing also those guys are good also. there are alot of ways to go about it just remember speed is money how fast do you want to go. alot of people try telling you that you can go fast cheap your gonna have to pay if you want to play.

3-months back order Damn. I had to wait 3 weeks. Yoshi takes 3mm off of the crank to make it a stroker kit and the connecting rod is stock. Thats were Yoshi's kits are differant, the kit invovles a speical stroker piston, and some other stuff. But since i have already had all the work done by yoshi i am gong to Maximum Performance to have the cylinder, piston, connecting rod, 4 valves and bearings replaced. They make a kit very simialr to Yoshi, i had porting, polishing, and crank work done by yoshi so all the important stuff is good.
