KQ700 Tires
#1
I guess we all agree that the rear tires are crap. For some of us the bike is somewhat erratic on snow and tends to throw you off course under strong acceleration. But beyond this has anyone suspected the alignment? A couple of us have noticed a misalignment about 1 inch from front to back. Anyone else may have noticed the same thing? May not be an issue but we noticed it.

mine looks misalligned as well...worst stock tires i have ever seen....purchasing some ITP mud lites in next week or so...buddy of mine has them and says the difference is night and day from stock (he has a King as well)...

I agree that the tires suck. However, the machine will suffer power loss if you mount tires that weigh much more than stockers. That, coupled with the KQ's low speed stumble, would make for a weak big bore ride.

I agree that the rear tires are crap. Went on a 35 mile ride today with a total of three Kings. We rode in snow/ICE and some decent mud depending on what side of the mountain you were on. We all thought that the tires are very loose on mud and snow.

I have seen them on their site. I do like them. I really do not want to loose any of the great handling characteristics of the King but I want new tires. I can not make up my mind if I want radials or bias. If I were to buy them I would probably stay with 25".

Hi guys, please take a serious look at the rear alignment of your King Quad. Some of us have made a few check and most have a misalignment at the back, on the right side. Again lets not push the panic button, but several of us here in Québec are having serious discussions with our dealer concerning the poor handling we tought was caused by the crapy tires, but could be the misalignment of the rear, table most likely.
