Pastor,

"This honor was bestowed WITH full knowledge of the reverse problem!" Text

I have a copy of ATV Magazine (Spring 2005) and I saw no where in the ATV of the Year article or the shoot out article in which they stated that they knew of a reverse problem.

Can you refer me and everyone else that read your post to where ATV Magazine stated that they knew about the reverse issue? I read both of the above articles and I must of missed it????

I bought the latest issue of the magizine where there is an article about the King, and I searched their website and I did not see any mention of the award either. I really hope it is fact.

Those mags are done months before they hit the news stand. So they would not know about the reverse issue. It's also funny how the KQ got atv of the year, and yet in the very same issue it came in 3rd in there big bore shootout.

I heard this directly from the dealer....I asked him several times to make sure...he absolutely declares this to be true. My friend has never lied to me before.

Wow, a little naieve are we? Repeat after me: "People are full of it, especially the dealer". Why would a dealer have any inside information pertaining to what a magazine said about an atv? He wouldnt.

Pastor, you might want to actually have the facts before you make such statements. There was nothing in any of the ATV magazine articles that said they knew about the reverse failure issue.

Hey...sorry guys. Actually, I am not prone to believing alot of the stuff that I hear however, The K.Q. HAS taken quad of the year in other publications...I have seen them for myself. With that being said...I hope the dealer is right.

so what are they doing about their transmissions puking out and destroying the engine block if you use reverse? Any word on a recall yet? Sure they're covering it when it happens under warranty...but what about they guys who own units that will go off warranty and have not had an issue due their lack of using reverse so far? I refuse to buy one until this matter is addressed.....and all I've heard so far is that its happening to some units and not to other ones......that could wreck your resale
