How many of u guys that have eigers have manuals and how many have autos? Is there a performance diffrence between the tow?

I have a manual. I have never ran head to head with an auto Eiger so I can't speak on the performance differance. I will say I like the manual but I think if I could do it over again I would buy the auto. The reason I say this is just for the ease of use. Put it in gear and forget about it.
My opinion
03 Eiger 4x4 manual. Dyno Jet kit, Uni air filter, Winch, Plow, and a lot of fun.

 

Auto. The performance difference is your left toe doesnt get sore. Next question.

 

Manual 4x4.

IIRC, one of the mags seemed to feel that the manual had just a little more power than the auto all through the power range BUT, it wasn't much of a difference. I haven't heard of any belt issues with the Eiger so I'd go for whichever one best suits your riding style.

one of my friends has an auto and when we ride together he can't touch my shift he goes right up the hills but i go up them sideways i believe after riding both back to back the manual has more noticeable power however ridin trails the auto is more comfortable and you don't have to worry about if you should be in second or third gear

 

why dont u do your own research on these topics, make up your mind, and then come back, we cant and dont want to help u get a certain quad, and, theres another forum JUST for that, when u figure it out yourself, like every1 else did, then come back with problems u may have

There's nothing wrong with asking questions. I'm sure that many of us had been in a similar situation. Its hard to lay down all that money on one quad when there are so many different brands and models to chose from. To be sure of what to get, you need to ask questions. The whole reason for a forum is to ask questions. You do it. I do it. Everyone does it. If you don't want to answer Muddymess, then DON'T. Give the man a break!

People come here asking for advise from one another. And alot of people here like to give their bit of advise.
Also, these machines are not cheap and I dont wanna make the wrong choice. Most people here have jobs
and have to buy the machine from their own money, unlike you where your parents bought all of ur quads.
