Z400 or King Quad 700?
#12
I own both a 03 z400 and a 95 King Quad and they are both good machines. It all depends what kind of riding you do.
The King Quad is very comfortable to ride where the z is not. The King is automatic which is ok for some things, but I like shifting gears myself. The King will go places that the z won't be able to.
If you like to buzz around trails, I would go with the z. It is very easy to maneuver and alot of fun to ride. If you are into mud, hills, go with the King.
I like them both, but will be selling my z. The King is more practical for my kind of use. I will use it for trail riding along with plowing snow on my driveway and pulling a trailer around the yard.

I have owned both the z-400 and currently the King. I will tell you I had alot of fun on the z. mine was piped hot cams larger carb and a few other tricked parts, it flat moved. However the King is very fun as well. they are totally different bikes and if you want to haul @ss all of the time go with the z. If you want something that will go wherever you want and very comfortably go with the King. I personnally wouldn't trade my King back for my Z. I am very impressed with the sporty feel that the King has truely it handles increadibly well.
Good luck with your choice
