Hey all, was just wondering if any of you have had your frame powder coated???, and if you did how much should it cost about I'm thinking of having it done. Firts though i wanna find out about what this should cost and also i need to find a place that will do it.

 

goes about 175 by me for frame

 

i had a guy here in memphis tn do every metal part on my wife's lakota, even the wheels for 300. he went 3mm with the powder coat.

 

I had mine done blue chrome which is 3 coat process cost me 350 for frame swingarm,arms,etc.

$175 is the cheapest i've heard... $250 ish is about average. But i wouldn't doubt that a good job would be 300-400

 

yeah well 175 was me taking frame in bead blasted and frame only . still havent done it im missing a bolt kit and bushings set still then i should be readt striper down. just afraid to take apart this close to spring but cash held me back this winter. owell

 

I had a body shop quote me $90 for media blast and powdercoat for my LT500 frame.

I called a place to day and they said a rough estimate without looking at it would be 300, that is me having it already sand blasted, also the color choice would make a difference in price.

 

i just took all the metal pieces in for mine just now, and i got it sandblasted for 80 bucks, and the powdercoating is going to cost around 200-300, depending on what color. I think im going with Candy Blue and Mirror silver, so its probably going to be closer to 300...will find out tommorrow how much its really going to cost.

 

yea my price I metioned above was 350 for everything frame,swingarm,aarms sand blasting included. Blue chrome and Hammertone gray. look at my pics to get idea.
