Default How much should a powder coat be?

I was quoted $300 for just a standard powder coat of blue on my 92 lt 250. you think you guys got it bad i had one guy quote me $7-800
to poder coat the frame. The prices are ridiculous in Alaska for that kinda stuff. Its almost cheaper to send it out to the lower 48 have it powder coated and shipped back to me than it is to have it done right here in this state.

I paid 125 for a flat back powder coat on the LT's frame. Had it done at some shop in San Diego
