I'm looking to buy a used LTZ400 and in the want adds I see all kinds of abbreviations. Can someone please help? I'm looking for a LTZ but are the DRZ and LTD's the same or is it simply a misprint. Thanks for the help.

 

LTZ is the quad, DRZ is the dirtbike.

 

Thanks for the info. What about the LTD? Do you think it's a typo? I saw an add in Bike Trader with a picture that definately said DRZ but it looked just like a LTZ400. I'm wondering if he replaced the engine. The add said, " DRZ, It's a LTZ. Lots of extra's. Won't be disappointed.

 

LTD is probably the Limited Edition LTZ400 quad.

If its a quad, its the ltz. If its a bike its the drz. Any mix of the two is either a typo or the dealer trying to tell you that the quad engine is adapted from the bike.
