whats better, kingquad or twinpeaks?

The Twin Peaks is a nice machine and has great acceleration however it doesn't have EFI, IRS, or Diff Lock and these things have become so important on utility quads that I would have to vote for the King, however, I think the Twin pulls incredible and if I were going by only power I would choose the Twin Peaks.

The TP does have front diff lock.
IRS is good for some things, its all about how you are going to use it and your preferences.
EFI isnt really a big deal right now. Unless you are making serious changes in elevation on a very regular basis then you wont see a lot of difference over a carbed bike. When they start incorporating self-adjusting systems, then we will really see the benefits.

I forgot that it had the diff lock lever. I guess you are right because really it depends on what you are using it for. I use mine for a lot of trail riding so the IRS is important to me and I am constantly changing elevation between about 1000-5000-11000 several times a year so EFI is important to me but I agree, it really depends what you want to do with the machine.

Thanks for the info. I do like the twinpeaks, and as for elevation I live on a island(Newfoundland) and very rarely will exceed 500 ft. I have been also checking out kawasaki and that new Brute force seems to be a cool looking machine.

I've never ridden a king quad but from what i've read and heard it seems like the TP would be better suited for aggressive riding. While the King is better at cruising speeds and providing a comfortable ride right?

I totally disagree with the idea that the King doesn't perform well. I am the most aggressive rider I know and I know alot. You can be as aggressive as you want on the King and it just asks for more (but don't be stupid, it will still tip if your stupid). I have raced both Sport and Utility atv's and I guarantee you will not be disappointed with a King. I suggest that you ride one first. I have a brother in law that owns a prarie same bike as the Twin Peaks and the King will out preform his machine for handling and top end speed.
I strongly encourage you to seriously ride the King before any choice is made.
