Default Belt adjustment

Kawa Prairei 700 / Suzuki TwinPeaks 700 - Belt Drive Transmission (CVT)

I have taken delivery of my TwinPeaks 700.

Page 149-150 of the manual states the belt has to be checked / adjusted at least every 100 hours, when the 'belt' light comes on.
It says that this has to be carried out by my local authorised Suzuki / Kawa dealer. I don't have a local one as I live way up in the moutains and intend doing the maintenance myself.

Can someone explain (in simple terms) how I get to the belt and adjust it and reset the timer.

Thanks

hey, make sure you use low as much as possible. Any mud, hills, pulling ect. When pulling somthing, make sure you are gassing it or not. Dont roll into it because of the stress it puts on the belt. Go to the kawasaki forum for more info.

Don't think I'd buy a machine that needs to be taken to the dealer every 100 hours....

why would it have to be taken to the dealer every 100 hours?
