Z250 Rear end clunking
#1
For the past couple of weeks there has been a clunking coming from the brakes on my Z250. Me and my neighbor took them apart a week ago. There was a little bit of water in there but we cleaned everything, sanded the brake pads and drum, and reinstalled everything as well as loosened the brake cables a little. Today while I was riding the clunking occured again. I took everything apart again and the drum and brake pads are fine. The only thing that we can think of is that the left side bearings might be worn enough (the right side bearings feel fine) to offset the axle a little bit and cause the brakes to rub in one spot as the axle spins. Could this be the problem or is there something else that could be causing the problem? We are sure that it is the brakes causing the clunking.
