Yesterday I got my new machine. Seems like a great bike. My only concern is a vin mumber. The dealer says it has the updated bearing but the numbers don't seem to be right. My number arejsaap41A652107610....does anyone know if this an updated version or not...I read any number over 115955 was updated, but I have a few more numbers confused by suzki,can anyone help???? THe dealer assured me that they were correct, but after the machine was loaded onto my truck he to;d me that I would have to bring it back for the throttle recall. If the throttle sticks and somebody gets hurt there will be one big law suit angainst Suzuki and the dealer. Why didn't they tell that bedfore I signed all the papers. Don't trust the dealer. Towmorr I will cll Suzuki in Toronto and see what I bought, a lemon or a lime.

 

Well, if it does not have the updates, I would drop it right back off at the dealer and advise him to order another. We pay way to much money for these toys and we shouldn't be getting *%$##$ around as much as we do when these issues arise!

 

Pompass the last 8 numbers should be 52115956 or higher. if there not then only the ecm has been updated.

 

Yours is NOT the updated one.... That 521"0" should be 521"1" in order to be high enough.
