Well there's a hole in the "glove box". Now I can understand you would like to have a hole to drain, but how bout including a plug w/ the bike?!?!? I didn't even realize there was a problem until on the last ride, stopped to take a smoke break. I realized my cigarettes, lighter, spare gloves, and the bag my digi camera was in had a nice mud coating on everything. I still get ticked thinking about it. TG I had the camera inside a ziploc inside a Crown Royal bag. I was wondering, am I the only one with this problem? WTF would Suz not include a plug for this?

Sounds like they need to inlcude "waterproof storage box" in the same category as the "unbreakable comb" (remember those?).

Mine fender box had a plug, but it disappeared after a few trips. I used some silicone and filled the hole with that. It keeps the box waterproof and is easy enough to clean off if needed. The rear box is also not very waterproof. It does good until you submerge -- learned that one the hard way.

Same thing here. Get a pack of those automotive push-type connecting plugs-look under the hood of your vehicle-that are used to hold the plastic under the hood together. They look like the ones that hold the floorboard plastic to the fenders (on your Vinson), except they don't have that push button in the center. Anyway, coat it w/ silicone, then push it through the hole. When the silicone sets, either cut or grind off what is hanging out of your box. Now, you will be water proof. I haven't had wet smokes since......
