My Brother-in-law has a 04 400 Eiger and wants to know if there any preformance mods he can do to make have more tourqe.

 

The list of usual upgrades. Air-Filter, Pipe, Jetting. I'm sure someone somewhere makes a torquey cam. It's all in how much he wants and how much he has in his wallet.

What do clutch kits do exactly, im interested!

 

Clutch kits replace the clutch springs and/or weights of the engagement clutch. Works on the same principal as a stall converter for an automatic transmission. Instead of engaging at 1500rpm your'e engagning at 3000rpm. Makes you take off or launch harder since your into more of the meaty part of the powerband when the clutches engage. Now there are clutch kits specifically for autos or so I'm told but I'm not sure how they work, unless they just delay the expansion of the shifting clutches causing the motor to stay higher in the rpm's.

 

Big gun, FMF, and HMF all have exhaust for the Eigers now

 

I'm getting my clutch kit from my dealer. I think he gave me a good price, 65 bucks
