Was wondering if anyone had info on doin the cam mod on the 05 z400. i had a 05 yfz 450 and the cam mod made a world of diffrence with the other bolt ons and im hopin there is some performance gains in cam timing on the zuki ?????

 

no, can't do the cam mod on the suzuki like the yfz.best bet is hotcams .

 

You could probably gain some performance by changing the timing, but an entire tooth and a stock engine wont amount to anything positive.

 

the yfz cam is the same as the dirtbike but they retard it for the quad.when you advance it it brings it to dirtbike hp.the z cam is not the same cam like the drz dirtbike, so doing the cam mod will not give you anymore hp its already max out.best bet is get the drz base gasket and both hotcams
