HI all, the fastest i've gone is 66, I've got 26" gators on mine and weigh 210 so I don't know if this reading is true. I've read in the mags that the KQ has the record top speed of 72mph stock, has anyone hit that yet? Please post your best top speed numbers I'm wondering if these mags are true or not! I heard from a few sources that in the testing phases, before Suzuki "detuned" it, that it was recorded going in the mid 80's. I'm not sure how true that is, but I heard it on more than one occasion.

 

My tach said 78 but my gps only said a little over 65, gps don't lie. but was quick enought for me

 

I also heard this machine was factory detuned. The tech that rode a store dem said he had it to 78 and backed off of it. Said he was scared...I don't blame him!

 

Had mine up to 71mph on several occasions riding down a very large sand tune. Govenor or rev limiter engaged at that point as I still had rpm left. I would guess 80mph if not limited. Too fast for a quad either way, I wish they would lower the gearing a bit myself.

80 mph on a Kinq Quad would be scary unless you put some really good firm tires on it. trust me, at 71 it is already starting to float, 80 would be hairball[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
