full exhaust vs slip-on
#1
I have done the research on this site, so dont cut me down for that please!! I have decided to go with the HMF pipe bc so many people are happy with it and i found it in my price range on sweetquads.com The only question i am looking to answer is whether the complete system is worth the $120. I heard that the complete system is best when you are looking to do more engine mods (cams, etc.) but i dont see doing that in the near future, just going to be doing the pipe, rejet and air filter. I see on the dyno shootout from dirt wheels that the HMF came out with 34.5 hp, how much lower do you think it will be with a slip on, if any? I would rather not spend the extra 120 right now, but still deciding. Thank you for any info,

i got a HMF on my warrior.. just slil on and its fine. U dun need the full system if ur not making any engine mods. Woke my warrior right up with good xcel and great sound. (Selling it tho.. and getting a KFX 400 or z400..)

The slip on would be the best choice if all you're doing (and plan on doing) is pipe, rejet and filter. The full system would give you a bit more power.
Here's a warning: modding your quad is addictive. If it was me I'd go with the full system because once you get a taste of what your quad is capable of you'll want more

I'd go with the full exhaust it will give u a lot more power then just the slip on will. I'm glad i got a comp. on my Z and thats all i did was rejet and added new airfilter on also. ( I do plan to add more stuff when i get the money tho)
