I am now a new Suzuki owner. I could not afford a new one, but I picked up a 1987 Lt 230 quad sport. Every thing works, the tires are all good, the plastics are not cracked and all the gears work. It even has the headlight on it. The only thing it has that I do not like is a DG exhaust which I do not htink has a spark arrestor that I need to ride the State trails. I paid $800. Please tell me I did not over pay?

Welcome to the SuziKrew. This is my first Suzuki as well and am quite pleased, hope you are as well. IMHO, if you got a quad for under a grand that's in half decent shape that didnt require work to get it running, then I don't think you over paid.

Thanks! That was my thinking as well. The guy excepted the $800 right away so you always second guess your self when that happens but it is hard to find a machine for under a 1K.

You should be able to pick up a sparky for about 50 to 70 bucks
