King Me!!!

I'm a long time Vinson owner and love the machine very much. After the dealer forgetting to put the oil plug back in and blowing up the engine it hasn't ran right since. Should be getting it back this week and it's going in the paper.
I just bought a KQ today but don't pick it up until Wednesday. Can any previous Vinny owners give me the pros/cons or likes/dislikes. Can't wait to try out the extra 200CCs! I've never owned an IRS machine before but I'm looking forward to a smoother ride. How much tippier is it than the Vinson?
Thanks.

well i never owned a vinson but have ridden a few (nice quad) my last quad was a quadmaster 500 with sra. i love the king. ive found it to be much more stable in off camber situations and have real nice trail manners. just a pleasure to ride all day long. irs is just a different ride but in no time you should learn to trust it and there will be no looking back to sra. i did notice while cornering at higher speeds that i felt a little more roll and that the front end wanted to kinda dive. after playing with shock adjustments with no satisfaction i went to highlifter front springs and they made a world of difference. good luck and safe riding!

I have owned both the Vinson and the K.Q. Both of these bikes are great. However, there really is no comparison with the power and feel of the K.Q. The Vinson was the best (inmho) UNTIL this thing showed up. The Vinson would absolutely go anywhere I wanted to go....what does that say about the K.Q.?

One very surprising thing I have found about the King Quad is how stable it is on off cambers. This must be because the gas tank is low in the frame. It does have a little body roll because of the soft suspension but it is not tippy. It is stable like the Rubicon, amazing for a IRS bike.

I found for hard dives into dips and stuff it was too soft at the factory setting, moved mine up to 4 on both the front and the rear. I also had them on 3 for a long time...and might move them back on slower trail rides...for racing down the sand canal near my house it was too soft at 45 ...Now the canal is filled until winter, so guess I can make them softer again. It is real easy to do, the wrench is in your tool kit under the seat, just give them a twist..takes about 2 min. to try different settings!
