Default z250 help

On my z250, on the rear differential part number 17 on THIS diagram is wiggling back and forth and making the driveshaft move a little bit. It seems fine when im riding it but it wiggles. I want to go riding next weekend so would it be okay if i went and then took it to the dealer afterwards? It has like half a centimeter of play in it.

Let me know what you think

take it to the dealer...better to spend a couple hundred than waste 4 grand....better yet try tightening some of the bolts before taking it to the dealer

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I think mine has a little bit of play in it. The most that could be wrong with it is that the bearing is worn but if you don't see any signs of rubbing or any weird noise then it will be ok. That piece isn't attached solid to the driveshaft either. There is a little spring inside to allow some movement.

Yeah im just gonna go anyways, my cousin's z250 has very little hours on it and no play at all in the driveshaft. I think they just move more as the quad gets ridden more (mine's quite a bit older than his)

I'm hoping it'll work like it is right now for a while.
