Don't know if I should jump in here, but here goes, I'm 72, first ATV was a new 99 Prairie 400, then a Prairie 02 650(bought June 2002) and now the proud owner of a King Quad, great 4-wheeler but Suzuki charges to much for their belts. Retired (1992) Aerospace Engineer.
Did a lot of flight test work until I was about 42 years old. Have been a registered rider at the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree in Richfield, Utah every year since 1999 and am going back again this year. This is fun event, good rides, good food, good entertainment and lots of vendors. All the major ATV makers have been there with their latest offerings except Suzuki who have never been there. In fact, the good Lord willing, I am going to keep going until I am the oldest registered rider participating and I think I am getting close.

41 this July. First bike, an 87 LT500.
First time out I managed to burn up the piston after four or five trips up sand mountain. I just paid the owner for the bike and ran it for five or six years after that. Sold it to purchase a drag quad, sold that one, bought a 400EX that is weaker than the wife's LT250 and went out and bought another LT500.
Suzuki ROCKS!
