Yep its true.Suzuki said its a premotion their running till june 30th.. just like the $69 winch deal and the $300 cash back deal.sorry to say it does not apply to buyers before may 1st. good example........if you bought your king at 6.9% and then 3 days later suzuki had a premotion of 3.9% they would not change it . I personaly think this is bad business. winches and cash back deals are ok premotions but when you screw an older costomer out of a warranty just to get new ones, its just bad business...

I will be picking my new KQ up on thursday and was wondering what this reverse and ECM problem is and if it will be fixed on my new one before I pick it up. Also is this 2 year warranty free or is there a cost.

Just spoke to my dealer in Canada and he saw these posts and checked with Suzuki Canada. They neither denied it or confirmed it but said there was a major promotion announcement coming next week in Canada for June sales. He suspects this is what is coming because they did it last year for the Twin Peaks. 2 Year factory warranty! I am glad I don't take delivery for another 3 weeks. I feel sorry for all you guys who just bought one and don't have it. I made my dealer find me one with a VIN higher than JSAAP41A_52115956 to make sure it was one with the new reverse gear hardware and proper ECM and bearings. The only question now is will I be getting an 05 in the proper VIN range or an 06, he does not even know yet.

It's true! I just bought a brand new King Quad today and I told my dealer about it and he said he knew nothing about it. I told him that I heard from a reliable source, at highlifter's forum, that it was true so he looked it up on the website for dealers. There it was. The dealers have 72 hours from the time you buy it to register your quad to be eligible for the 2 year warranty. I was planning to buy a 4 warranty and now I won't have to. I only keep my quads 1-2 years at the most. I just wanted to confirm this.

Sounds like the beancounters finally figured out how many KQ sales they lost to Yamaha. They finally had to get off their a## and do something about it......why so late?
