Kelley at Doug Reynolds Suzuki in Little Rock Arkansas just told me that suzuki is now offering a 2 year factory warranty on the King ...she recieved the info from suzuki today .you also still have the option to buy the other 2 years. heres their number if anyone wants to verify it. #501-562-6229 ask for Kelley...

Well, well, well....I wionder what the few and far between critics now have to say. Pardon my sarcasm, but I am a little tired of all the hand wringers that have nothing good to say about Suzuki....quite a development. In the very beginning I defended the manufacturer as one that would come through. Looks like they have.

 

i wouldnt jump for joy yet.... this has yet to be confirmed. Lets hope it is true... A little comp might be due to us who have purchased the extended warranty.

 

That would be sure nice to know before I take delivery of my KQ. My dealer expects to have it in 3-4 weeks and was just today trying to sell me a 4 1/2 year warranty for $1600.00 Canadian. Would be nice to know if Suzuki is going to offer a 2 year. If so I would only purchase a 3 year warranty and hopefully save myself some $$$.

 

In Saturday's mail I received a notification from Suzuki about the Reverse and ECM problem. They said my KQ had not been updated and to take it in ASAP. If I have it updated, they'll give me a five year warranty. The dealer is closed today so I will call him Tuesday. I will ask my daughter to scan the letter and I'll post it up.

True, Suzuki does extend the warranty to five years with completion of the ECM update, but this only applies to the tranny. The rest of the ATV remains at 6mo.

 

What about the people who just bought one a month ago, will they give us a two year warranty!!

 

dealer said that any king purchased after 5-01-05 would qualify for the 2 year factory warranty. If the dealer sold the king to you after that date and he had not recieved his letter from suzuki about this new warranty,than suzuki would mail the new warranty to you.

 

thats BS ill be calling suzuki myself tommorow, screw that, i miss it by a few weeks. i dont think so.
