Default LT80 Lost drive

All of a sudden the kid's quad doesn't turn the wheels. The engine revs and all. There is SOME power to the drivetrain but not much. You think I just need a drive belt? I've only had the bike 6 months. Thanks for the advice.

Front clutch rollers are fried. by new rollers and keep them lubed. the belt should last for years.

Are both the front and rear clutch center nuts right hand thread? The parts diagram said nothing of LH threads, but maybe thats normal. Thanks for the help.

Q-duck is correct ...front clutch problems.
Both right hand thread.
I have seen another problem, but lets not go there till we rule out the rollers.
Let us know what you find and we'll help.

The front clutch was severly impacted with black carbon. I chiseled out the rollers. 3 of the 6 rollers had some bad flat spots. The stamped steel part has some pronounced worn spots. The cast steel part has some evedence of warn places. I'm thinking about using the 3 good rollers, staggered of course, as I've heard that will improve response. The belt looked in pretty good shape. Thanks for all the help, the kids will be stoked.

You should replace the rollers and the cast steel plate.
3 rollers usually is not enough. 4 is recommended.

All that plus the steel plate that covers the rollers.
Part # 21431-29A00. It lists for about 6 bucks. (view transmission 1 part is #3 if your on a site with the parts)
