Default Kingquad FI light?

I have 6.6 miles on my new Kinqquad and the FI light came on today. But it is still running fine. I have never heard the fan come on. What are some things to check? I have also notice there is a wire that is unplugged in the rear right side of the unit. All the lights work so it is not a wire to the lights I have no idea what it goes to unless it has something to do with the fan? I live over 80 miles from my dealer so I would rather not have to take it back to them.
And replies would be greatly appreciated.

..I'm hearing more and more of the ecm's going out...some machines stop on the trail and get towed back. They required replacement of the ecm....( $300.00 to $400.00 retail unless under warranty ).hopefully while strill under warranty...surf over to www.highlifer.com and under suzuki you will see a few other people with same problems..I was hoping to avoid buying the overpriced extended warranty...but as I see more & more of the ecm's failing..I may have to....nice quad btw....lol

Well, I let it sit for a wile and now it has cleared. I did notice that the fan was not coming on, so I let it sit and idel for a wile and the fan finnaly came on. I wonder if the higher temp had something to do with it. HUM???

Thanks for the reply!

I had both FI lights come on. It wouldn't start and I had to be towed out. I had about 100 miles on it at the time. It ended up being the ECM...which was covered under warr, but after seeing what they cost, I bought the 4 year extended warr.
