I just read an article in the new dirtwheels mag about the new z450 coming this summer. Man does it sound sweet. It is going to be all new from the ground up. Its supposed to debut later this summer. It will have a race ready suspension, wider a-arms. Cant wait to see it.

It didn't say how many gears it will have. Its going to be using a beefed up rmz 450 motor with a heavier duty clutch. This is the quad I have been waiting for. I was going to get a z 400 this year but am going to wait until this bad boy comes out.

 

man i cant wait to see what it looks like and how it performs. i hope its the best 450 out there.

 

Wider A-arms than what?? A Z400???

 

i bet it gets even closer to the 50 inch limit than the YFZ and R do...i say 48-49 inches wide?

 

I'd be surprized to see it that wide. I have some Douglas rims with the widest offset available on the front of the YFZ, and it measures about 48" across. Almost too wide for going down many of the trails![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

well my inside info said it might be till sept-oct before its in dealers now.but suzuki is going to say something about it late june to the public.it will be a race ready quad...5speed ,efi,and only kickstart only though
