I wish they would hurry up and come out with the Z450 so we can all just see what it can do... Because i dont really see it being much better then the YFZ..

 

To the contrary, I was hoping to learn something new here. I understand the weight issues with the battery setup. I'm just not completely clear on the diff b/w TBI and DPI... other than the TBI is a constant spray with variable flow versus DPI utilizing a timed 'shot' of fuel for a given interval. The part I'm not clear on is how does Suzuki (Cat) make their batteryless TBI work, and why wouldn't those principles apply to the DPI?

Why is TPI undesirable on a quad vs. DPI? Wouldn't it still be better than a carb?

 

Mechanical fuel injection comes from early diesels and the 50's automotive fuel injection. I know it was used by VW in their diesels in the mid 80's. Also srint cars run mechanical fuel injection.

 

Hey all bad news about the z450 coming out in july or Oct wrong i spoke to my dealer and he had a conversation with one of the mechanics for Suzuki and he told him that the bike wont come out till march Bummer lol
