well someone can roll it away and worry about a battery later. It has happened before and Im not about to let that happen. Not to say that a simple alarm will stop theft but Im trying to do what I can to prevent it from happening to me..... You also think its funny but wait untill it happens to you...

Look into getting one of those cable alarms they put on computer equipment. 135 or 155 dB if I remember correctly. You may have to weld or epoxy a little hoop somewhere on the frame or swingarm for the cable to go through. And unless they're real good w/ a lock pick I doubt they'd get it. Just remember if a thief wants something bad enough and is good enough, you won't realize it's gone until it's too late regardless of the protection. You could also look into getting some Kryptonite cables that are supposed to be bolt cutter proof, but I'm not sure they're lock pick proof.
Good luck, just buy one of those alarms like I was talking (google "Sonic Screamer") and then go get a .40 cal w/ some extra ammo. Just make sure you go get a throw away gun to put in his hands before the cops show up . I hate nothing more than a thief, well kid touchers, rapists, racists and wife beaters, but that's beyond the scope of this forum

I wouldn't give my Vinny up for any other bike, well maybe a big cat on 29's (for the mud), or a poked-n-stroked yfz450 (for the speed). The vinny fits right in the middle and that's exactly what I wanted for my first bike (technically not the first, but it's the first one that counts).
I'm assuming you need the wiring layout for the Vinson ignition switch. I've got a 2003-2004 service manual.
The red wire is the main hot wire feeding the switch.
The orange wire is your ignition feed (the On location).
The Green that turns into a Orange/Blue tracer is your main headlight feed.
The Pink is your Auxiliary light feed.
I'm not sure on the setup of your alarm, but the alarm disable wire should be tied into the Orange wire. But your alarm instructions may be different and without actually seeing them I dunno.
