Default First wrecks....

well, rolled my z400 for the first time today. nothing to serious of damage to either the quad or me. gouged the plastic and flatend the handlebars. i have to re-position everything now. wasnt going to fast, maybe 10mph. i was spinning it around on gravel going back and fourth on a small jump when for some reason i tried to get out of the spin to early, and it rolled over onto its top, and threw me good. what other damage should i be concerned about or watch for? and what was your first wreck like? thanks.

Default First wrecks....

ive wrecked twice the first I hit a small bump and tossed me over the bars and ran me over
the second was 2 months ago hit a figure 8 track at the dunes going 52mph . broke a rib and
knocked me out for a while and bruised the lower half of my body
never even hurt the bike both times. I have rolled it down a hill. jumped off of it
and let it tumble. beat it up and bent a few things

Nothin major, just got my quad abt 3 months ago. been doin good up until the other day. I was comin down a small hill on an angle and hit a log and rolled it. Luckily I jumped off, kinda saw it comin. Winched it back upright and back up the hill. My friend however, was doin donuts on his a while ago for his first wreck. Caught a dry patch and it kicked and flipped completely over in the air, over him. Never landed on him, rolled completely over him, bent it up pretty badly, but he was ok.

ok...so i am just going to cry now. re-positioning everything, and broke one of the throttle set bolts off. i wasnt even using a whole lot of pressure either. small little 1/4" ratchet. well, off to the hardware store for me. easy-out here i come.

ouch on all the broken ribs. thankfully all ive broken was my leg. hope i never get to experience any broken bone again. and nuts to those who say a sprained ankle is worse than a broken leg.

The first time I rolled my R I was showing off in front of my new girlfriend. It was at a track I had never been to about 3 years ago. I was at full throttle in 4th when I realized a turn was coming up. I slammed on the brakes and the a$$ end kicked out and cauaght a rut. The bike and I both cart-wheeled for about 50 feet. The sand was soft so the bike and I both walked away without a scratch.

I was going down my driveway and it was comlete ice. The backend started coming around and didnt think anything of it, and just figured I would ride it out. I didnt know it but below me there was a patch of gravel and i hit it while I was sideways and it flipped. It wasnt that bad of a wreck and would have done zero damage, but the fenders were brittle cause it was so cold out so when they hit they shattered. Had to buy all new fenders for it.
